Mogadishu (almuniir) -After some recommendations were released from the ICG meeting in Kampala, among which was the resignation of the prime minister within a period of 30 days, the quitting of the premier was confirmed by the government information minister Abdikarim Hassan Jama.
Mr. Abdikarim who spoke to Radio Muogadishu said the Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has decided to step down after going back to Mogadishu to curtail the political feud in the government.
The premier and his delegation is expected to return to Mogadishu today
The prime minister who is reported to have flewn out of Kampala is expected to resign although the exact time is not known.
Among the recommendations of the meeting was that after the Farmaajo resigns, the president will appoint a new prime minister and the elections postponed.
