Luanda (almuniir) - The Somali community in Angola said they are optimistic about the release of the Somali refugees from the jails of Angola after giving some 30 thousand dollars to the lawyer.
Yussuf Mohamed Jimale, who is one of the detainees told Almuniir that they are hoping to be released today from the jail which is 55km outside the Angolan city, Luanda.
A delegate from the UNHCR are also expected to visit the jail in bid to assess the conditions of the refugees.
Reports say the Somali were detained in the jail for over a year and they are lamenting about problems they encounter in the jail.
