Addis Ababa (almuniir) - Delegates headed by the Somali president Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed left for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where the members of IGAD are to meet.
The president is accompanied by the acting minister for defense, Abdihakim Mohamud Haji Fiqi and officers from the army. Ahead of them in Addis Ababa were the acting minister for foreign affairs and information, Mohamed Abdullahi Omar and Abdikarim Hassan Jama.
The defense ministers of IGAD member states will meet in the first phase of the meeting in which top on the Inter Governmental Agency on Development (IGAD) summit agenda is the current situation of Somalia and the regional issues.
