Mogadishu (almuniir) - The police forces of the TFG are set to carry out operations in Bakara market to protect and safeguard the property and wealth of the
Somali people, as said by the spokesman of the police force, Abdullahi Hassan Barise
The spokesperson said the police will not cause any harm or looting to the property of the people but will protect them
The spokesman Barise said the police will maintain security to the property and lives of the people adding that they are ready to defend the citizens. Barise said the militias are merciless to the people.
The spokesperson also expressed his sadness over the actions of Al-shabab where he said they shield themselves in the buildings of the market and carry out attacks from within the market jeopardizing the lives of the people
The policemen will set up stations in the Bakara market in bid to maintain security in the areas taken over by the military.
