Medical access and attention in Dayniile hospital halts

Mogadishu (almuniir) -The administration of Daynile hospital in Mogadishu is reported to have been in a state of malfunction for a period of one month after the MSF France agency which was financing the hospital operation entered into a row with Al-shabab who are in control of the area.
One of the medical workers in the hospital who preferred to remain anonymous confirmed to Almuniir that the militias refused to allow foreign monitoring team brought by the agency.
Al-shabab claim that spies for western countries may infiltrate in the monitoring team and convey important intelligence information to them. This has caused a deadlock which resulted in the halting of the basic medical access by the public.
The militias previously chased and banned the operations of the international humanitarian aid agencies medical agencies and many native groups involved in assistance.
Daynile hospital offers medical services to the people injured in the fightings. The stoppage of its operations is detrimental to the lives of the people living near the hospital.
